DIRECTIONS:

Km. 1130 of the N-340, turn for L'Hospitalet de L'Infant.
Entrance to official car park found just opposite El Templo del Sol Camping, to access the beach take a pathway to the left of the camping by cliffs edge till you come to the stairs that lead down to beach.
Second & last entrance to beach lays at km. 1124 of the N-340 past camping southern direction.
Drive for 2.3 km. up & down hill. Park before tunnel, walk a further 50 m. to beaches southern end by Islet.
El Torn beach lays 1.9 nautical miles from L'Hospitalet de L'Infant, or 6.3 km. by road to the City Center

COMMENTS:

Playa El Torn beach, lays in a wild & unpopulated area just on the outskirts of L'Hospitalet de L'Infant.
It is 1,400 meters in length by 57 m. average width.
The predominant ground surface is of a yellow medium grain sand with some rocks & gravel in places at it's most northern end.
The Naturists gather mainly at the north end of the beach by camping steps.
Smaller groups gather by Islet at it's southern end.
Due to it's size, El Torn beach can seem sparsely populated, even in high season.
Facing the open sea, the sea conditions are generally
calm/moderate.
Sea currents are at a strength of 10 % in a western to southwest direction with possible fresh sea breezes in a south, south eastern direction.
Average water temperatures are 22°C & atmospheric daily temperatures range from 20°C to 26°C in the summer, while rain fall is 56 1/m˛

AMENITIES:

Playa El TornThe beach is regularly cleaned by the authorities.
Dustbins/garbage cans are available. Use them always please!
Red Cross/first-aid/lifeguard service, at hand on beach.
Parking is allowed on official car park opposite camping (Come early!). Small charge is made. Car park attendants patrol the parking area frequently. Police patrol the beach frequently.
Sun shades/parasols & deck chairs, are available for hire from bar.
Bar on beach sells refreshments & snacks/light meals.
Naturist/textile Campsite found at beach ( El Templo del Sol ). Other accommodation also available nearby.
